Environment

Sony DADC has been certified according to the International Environmental Standard ISO 14001 (eco audit) since 1998. Our use of state-of-the-art technologies facilitates large reductions in the consumption of water, energy and solvents. We created our own environmental management system to ensure that our activities are increasingly compatible with the environment. Thus 95% of our total waste is already recycled and we are working intensively to achieve 98% re-utilisation. The environmental successes of Sony DADC have received numerous awards from Sony Europe. We exclusively use UV hardening print colours and protective varnishes that do not contain heavy metals or solvents. The discs and packaging are 100% free of PVC, and meet the EU guidelines on packaging and packaging waste. Both discs and packaging are recyclable.

Copyright Protection

Sony DADC takes responsibility in counteracting copyright piracy very seriously. In order to maintain maximum security for your content, CDSA-Certification is part of our Copyright Protection Policy. CDSA stands for Content Delivery and Storage Association and is an international representation of the Music and Software industry. CDSA has established the world's first Anti-Piracy Certification for manufacturers of CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs. This certification is designed to help manufacturing plants establish procedures to reduce the risk of publishing pirated contents. Fixed internal proceedings are designed to discover eventual violation of copyright already at receipt of the order. CDSA annually inspects the conformance to these proceedings.
